How to Smell Good All Day

You can definitely smell good if you choose to. Even if you aren't engaged in heavy lifting or running up 15 flights of stairs during your work day, smelling fresh after a grueling 10-hour day can, at times, be a stretch. Instead of offending your co-workers, take the time to freshen up your act throughout the day.

SHOWER IN THE EARLY MORNING ( your scented body wash or shampoo will at least stick with you as a scents base even when you sweat , it wont stink that fast though)

SMELLS CHECK ON YOUR CLOTHES (smell your clothes and make sure the shirts or jacket that you are going to wear doesn't smells like a half-dried clothes that has been stored for few months )

WHERE ARE YOU GOING? ( Take the venue as a consideration of picking your clothes . You don’t wear a cardigan in a sweltering afternoon and make yourself sweat like an athlete , do you? Try to eliminate the sweat . If necessary , bring some extra clothes for back up )

Spray some perfume on the bottom of the shower floor and during your shower you will be surrounded by a wonderful steam.

Pay special attention to high perspiration areas, such as your underarm area and the soles of your feet. Don't skimp on your hair. Keep in mind that foul-smelling hair will stick with you, and your co-workers, all day long. Use a gently-scented shampoo and conditioner before getting out of the shower.

Use deodorant and antiperspirant under your arms. Stop the smell before it starts by using a long-lasting or prescription strength option. For a chemical-free version, opt for a mineral-based product that covers the odor and keeps your underarms bacteria-free. Reapply your deodorant midday to stay fresh. Apply a light coating of antiperspirant to the bottoms of your feet if they tend to smell.

Add a layer of body lotion. Choose a fresh-smelling cream that features lavender or citrus notes. Carry a mini bottle in your bag and reapply as needed throughout your day to freshen your scent.

Dress in loose, breathable or flowing clothes. Allow air to circulate around your body and avoid trapping sweat under constricting outfits. With these you won't smell bad....

How To Develop Flat Tummy

Step one:
If you want to build muscle and burn fat at the same time, you have to perform circuit training, three days per week. How can you achieve this? Indulge in full body exercises like lunges, push-ups, and pull-ups, for one set of 15 repetitions. Don’t forget to follow every exercise with one minute of jumping rope. You should be able to burn around 500 to 600 calories per workout.

Step two:

You have to work on your abdominal muscles three times in the week. Crunches and leg raises for three sets of 20 repetitions should be done. Also, do planks by holding your body in a push-up position on your elbows for 30 to 60 seconds for four sets.

Step three:

The kind of food you will eat in this period is vital in bringing about any change. Natural foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grain breads and pastas, chicken, beef, fish and low fat dairy should replace processed foods full of sugar.

Step four:

To minimize water retention, lower your sodium intake. This means you need to avoid salt. You can flavour your food with other herbs and spices instead.

Step five:

Stressing and anxiety can cause the over-production of a certain hormone called cortisol, which encourages weight gain about the belly area. So try to keep your cool!

     The Nigerian Medical Association(NMA) yesterday announced the commencement of a nationwide strike today, after Federal Government failed to yield to their request.
      The President of the NMA, Dr. Kayode Obembe, during a press briefing in Abuja yesterday said, there was no going back from the strike and it starts today, 1st of July, 2014.
        The NMA had sent 24-point demands to the government, including the discontinuation of recognition of non-medical doctors as Directors and Consultant title to any other health worker other than medical doctors, but their demands are yet to be met.

Court Nullifies Collection Of Toll On Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge

A Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos State has nullified the collection of any toll or tariff on the Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge.

Ruling on the suit, which was filed by human rights lawyer, Ebun Adegboruwa, presiding judge, Justice Saidu, J. held that the power of control over all navigable waterways in Nigeria resides in the Federal Government, and not any state government.

He held that from all the documents made available to the court, the only justification for the toll fee on the bridge by Lagos State is the private partnership law.

However, he noted that the law could not apply to the Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge since it was built with the money of the Lagos State Government, without the involvement of any private partnership.

“Thus, since there is no law supporting the toll fee, it is illegal and should be stopped forthwith”, Justice Saidu said.

Responding to the ruling, Adegboruwa commended the courage of the judge, especially against the background of the impunity that citizens are being subjected to all over country.

“Coming a day after the same court nullified the imposition of new number plates, this judgment should be an elixir to all Nigerians to challenge in the court, all illegal taxes and arbitrary charges in the name of road tax, PHCN metre maintenance charge, estimate bills without electricity, and so on”, he said.

Sunmbo Adeoye Out With New DVD…

Sunmbo Adeoye after hosting women earlier this month on International Women’s day, has released a DVD of the programme titled, Inspiring change. She says the DVD was released due to popular demand, and also explained how nervous she was at first, when she was challenged to get women together and talk to them. She says she is a living evidence that God Mercies still exists, and no matter the depth of one’s mistake, things can still change for the better, I am a living evidence, everything changed when I found God, she said.

For those of you who do not know Sunmbo Ajaba or what she is talking about, let me tell you the little we know about her. Sunmbo is the mother of Tuface’s first child, and has two sons for him. While they were still dating, Tuface was also dating Annie and Pero was there and also started having kids for him.

Fast forward time, she stopped dating him, she went through a lot emotionally especially with the whole lot of drama that came with being tuface’s babymama on the pages of newspapers. Then she gave her life to Christ, and met Pastor Adeoye whom she is now married to, and the rest is history.

One thing a lot of ladies should learn from Sunmbo is that, she thinks great and dates ‘great’. She does not let anyone or anything intimidate her. Tuface is a great man, and I am sorry to say this, I know a little about Pastor Adeoye too, and he is a GREAT man.

A lot of ladies, single ladies with no kids, powerful and working class girls, wanted to fill his wife’s shoes when the pastor lost his wife few years back, but it was difficult. The ‘battle’ was tough, but fast forward time, Sunmbo is now his wife. She won the ‘battle’. Even with two kids.

Then it dawn on me that it’s been God so far. I remember being nervous, when I was recommended to host women on International women’s day.

Kourtney Kardashian talks up new kids line .

      It’s no secret the Kardashian family loves fashion. They have a women’s clothing line called Kardashian Kollection at Sears, Dash boutiques in Los Angeles, Miami and New York, and have now launched a clothing line at Babies R Us stores called Kardashian Kids.
If you have a baby boy, though, you’re out of luck. The line is just for baby girls up to 24 months.
“I think girls’ (clothing) was easier for me to wrap my head around,” said Kourtney Kardashian while promoting the venture in New York Monday. She said she’s “obsessed with boys’ clothes” but found “it was easier to just start with girls.”

She hopes to incorporate boys’ clothing into the line in the future.
“I would love to,” Kardashian, 34, said, adding that she started shopping for her son Mason, now 4, when she was pregnant with him. She also has a daughter, Penelope, who is almost 2.

While Penelope is too little to have a say in what she wears, Kardashian said she “picks her battles” when it comes to dressing her son, who likes to pick out his own clothes and “surprise everyone and then come out and show us his outfit so it’s really cute.” But “if there’s a special occasion and I really want him to wear a suit on Christmas Eve for this or that, then he’s so far has been good about still wearing what I want.”

Kardashian would rather shop for her kids than herself. “It’s just so much more fun and there’s so much out there, but I’m really picky,” she said, adding that she loves to put outfits together for them.

Senate Approves Emefiele As New CBN Governor

Today, the Senate confirmed the appointment of Zenith Bank boss Godwin Emefiele, as the new central bank governor to replace Lamido Sanusi, who was suspended last month.

Nigerian Idol: Contestants Battle For A Spot In Top 12

It has been a hard-won battle to make it to the top thirty for the Nigerian Idol contestants who have struggled with exhaustion, nerves and against thousands of other hopefuls also looking for their ticket to fame and stardom.

On Sunday,10 of the Top 30 contestants selected had to battle it with stellar and impressive performances for an opportunity to win the hearts of both the judges and the viewers at home.

Performing songs from international artistes such as; Rihanna, Pharrell, Tyrese, Justin Timberlake, Jill Scott, Usher Raymond, Sam Sparrow, Labrinth, Emeli Sandé and Avicii, the first group of 10 had four golden tickets recipient from the audition phase.

Breaking News! Court Declares FRSC’s New Number Plates Illegal

Federal Road Safety Commission’s threat to impound vehicles come October 1 might not just happen any more, after a Federal High Court in Lagos this morning declared the new number plates illegal, saying it’s unconstitutional.

The judge said; that it was unlawful for the commission to impose the new number plates on Nigerians, where no existing law permitted it.

The suit was filed by Emmanuel Ofoegbu, a lawyer, against FRSC after they insisted every Nigerian must get the plate number, or have their vehicles impounded as from the 1st of October, 2014.

What happens to those of us that have already gotten the new plate numbers.... We need our money back oooo....

While appearing by live link on Australian breakfast programme The Morning Show, Naomi was asked what she thought of the cover, which was released on Friday. Making a face, the supermodel said: “I do not want to comment.” When asked “Why?” she laughed before replying: “Because I’m a fashion model and I’ve been working for 28 years and when you get a Vogue cover it’s a build in your career, it’s a stepping stone to achieve that. I’m a fashion model, so what more can I say?" 

One of the hosts then probed whether she was implying that Kim and Kanye hadn’t “earned the right” to appear on the cover of Vogue, to which Naomi shot back: “Those are your words, I’m being politically correct.”
“That’s Anna Wintour’s choice to put them on the cover of her magazine, who’s to question it,” she firmly stated, putting and end to the conversation.

Naomi certainly isn’t first to criticize Vogue editor Anna Wintour’s choice for her April cover. Many on Twitter questioned whether the stunt was a prank while Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar tweeted: “Well......I guess I'm canceling my Vogue subscription. Who is with me???”
